The goal of Arsenal Elite Baseball is to provide a fun and safe learning environment that fosters the development of numerous baseball skills. Our staff is knowledgeable in multiple drills, activities and games to develop the complete baseball player. We are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of the game while focusing on the needs of each camper. Keeping the children active and engaged will support our overall objective of keeping children physically active.
Coach Joe De Palma
Joe has recently stepped down after his 12th year as the Head Coach on the Nyack High School Varsity team. The Nyack Indians won multiple League titles. Joe has coached some D1 and D2 Baseball players who have had successful college careers. Nyack Varsity Baseball went to the section finals in 2017 and 2019.
Joe is also the former Montclair State University Red Hawks (Fall 2005- Spring 2007) pitching coach. He was instrumental in the season long development of the Montclair staff as MSU ranked among the top teams in the NJAC in earned run, average, and pitching. Joseph helped Montclair?s ERA stand at a 4.22 late in the season helping them win a Regional tournament and competing in the 2006 Division 3 Baseball Championship.
Joe is the co- organizer of Arsenal Elite Summer Baseball Camp. Arsenal Elite Summer Camp focuses on the development of important skills necessary to be a successful player at the next level while incorporating fitness, agility and fun. He is also the co- founder of the Arsenal Elite Summer Baseball Club team.
Coach Hal Stone
Stone has been part of Nyack Athletics for over 21 years, being part of many athletic staffs that has won several championships at league, section and state level. For the past nine years Coach Stone has been the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at Nyack High School, winning the league in 2012 and becoming Coach of the Year for the League, Conference and Journal News County Coach of the Year. Coach Stone also had the position of Nyack Middle School Head Baseball Coach for the last nine years in which his program has had one of the best winning percentages of any team in the county. Coach Stone has coached Travel Soccer for many local clubs including Ramapo Valley and Clarkstown as well as coaching Travel Baseball for Clarkstown Stars and Nyack/Valley Cottage Little League
